LionsHead's history started with a lion named Fraser who rode the gondola to Eagle's Nest to celebrate the advent of skiing in this second resort community. Renewing itself throughout, LionsHead has launched its new look with the opening of the Arrabelle at Vail Square. On the free bus route, LionsHead is walking distance to the town library, the ice rink, the hospital, and Vail Village. A leisurely stroll or bike ride along the Gore Creek takes all the worries away.
